Coming up roses!

In these chilly times, we’re all starting to dream about June roses, so wanted to share this gorgeous picture of our Gertrude Jeckylls in full flower last summer, alongside our monster calendula border. Also, a word about what we’re doing with these wonderful super-botanicals right now…

With our sister venture, Bodorgan Botanicals, we’ve created a range of divine salt soaks - our first one, Bathed in Joy, uses super-detoxifying and mood-lifting magnesium Epsom salts, plus our lovely roses and calendula from the walled gardens here at Bodorgan. We’re spending lots of time in the bath (!) right now, just soaking it all off… and the scent is really heavenly. We also had an extra-big harvest last summer, so we have oodles of lovely dried botanicals for all our Potions-making, so happy times all round (in spite of all the obvs., unmentionable), as we’re getting the gardens ready for the season ahead. Lots of mulching, seeds going in, dead wood being cut back and planning, planning… Clearing the way for fresh new life to grow!

Our soak salts are available right now as part of our Wellness Boxes, available from the shop @positivepotions.co.uk, and include Bodorgan Botanicals’ amazing Optim-oil, Super-salves and loose tea blends. We’re working on a full range of loose tea blends using our dried botanicals from the summer, so look out for our new flavours, coming very soon…
